Eduard F-8 Crusader | Unboxing | 1/48 Limited Edition

The Mig-21 from eduard, a very nice kit… wait a second…did you have heard that? Just started the Mig-21 from eduard, the “Mig-Killer” came to my house also know as the F-8 Crusader Hello and welcome to my unboxing of this beatiful kit It is an eduard kit in 1/48th scale It is a limited edition, means there is just a certaint amount of kits on the market the parts are really well chosen by eduard and many aftermarket goodies are included It is a kit with a full box and many parts We start with the boxart, absolutly beautiful Here we see the name “Crusader” in an older kind of writing Because Crusader in german is something like “Kreuzritter” but i don’t no the context with the aircraft itself I think the engineers of this jet just needed a cool name for their new baby because of that we see here the shield of the Crusaders with a sword At the first look it is not that much in the box because the box is too big for these parts, but I think it is not that bad Maybe a little bit smaller, that would be perfect, but now it is how it is. First we see what is negativ is the packing of the sprues The plastic parts are all from Hasegawa, because normally eduard pich up the best kit of a certain model.. or just the Hasegawa kit because they have a certain standard quality and there are kits that sometimes are not that good and some are better This one belongs, from my first view, to the better ones but we will see Here we see, as I said, all plastic part in one bag and that can cause damages to the parts, I hope here are all parts okay Then we got here the clear parts and some rubber parts I don’t know how they will be used.. maybe for the weels or something.. Then we got the instructions, which we have a look at later… Very high quality paper and in english some explainations on the front. Normally the infos are in Czech but here we got just english, I like that Here we have the pre-cutted masking tape That is for the clear parts so that we can paint them without any issues Then painted PE parts, I am amazed by that high quality of detail, where i first was not sure because they are very small that i thought it is 1/72nd scale because it is so damn small.. but i think everything is just fine. Here we got some normal pe parts also, everthing very nice. Then a bag with some resin-parts, the ejection seat and the weels with the inner part of them Also a huge decal sheet, what i personally don’t like that much, they could have split that better so you have a sheet for the stencils and one for the markings, for example. Now we start with the biggest sprue, were directly the two parts of the main part of the jet The detail quality and the panel lines is fantastic I think there is nothing bad at all I will do some detail pictures of this at the end in a slideshow, so that you can make an impression on yourself…
